Description
External cooling is an external fan with an independent power supply, which is attached to the engine for better heat dissipation. External cooling is used when the motor is operated with an inverter, when at low fan speeds, the cooling efficiency is low and the motor starts to heat up. Overheating the engine may damage it. External cooling is most often used when the engine speed in continuous or long-term operation is below 700 [1/min]. This is not a hard limit. It all depends on the environmental conditions: temperature, humidity, dust, building conditions (air circulation) and load. We offer external cooling systems that can be installed on virtually any engine. They have a standard power supply of 230V or 400V (other voltages on request). Please note that when working with an inverter, external cooling must be connected independently.
