Electromagnetic switches

Description

Change of direction of rotation single-phase or three-phase electric motors are possible with the use of electromagnetic switches,
which have a built-in relay that switches the motor off if it falls
or voltage decay. They protect against automatic reclosing
if the supply voltage returns. They can also turn off the engine
if the winding temperature is exceeded
(equipped with thermal sensors).

Rated current: 16A

Protection: IP54

One-phase switch:
Rated voltage: 230V

Three-phase breaker:
Rated voltage: 400V ~ 50Hz
Coil supply voltage: 400V ~ 50Hz

Guide

Connecting a single phase inverter to a three-phase motor

The 230 / 400V engine is factory-wired in a star configuration:

To connect a single phase inverter to the 230 / 400V motor, unscrew the nuts and remove washers together with the plates:

The plates should be mounted in parallel, and the shielded cable from the inverter should be connected as shown in the picture below:

When the torque on the motor controlled by the inverter drops

Please note that above rated values (above 50 Hz) the motor torque will drop. In the frequency range from 0 to 50 Hz, the power increases and reaches its maximum value at 50 Hz.

Vector operating mode of the inverter

Inverters that have the option of factory vector control are set to scalar control. To set the vector control, set the H40 parameter to 3 by performing Auto-Tuning (H41 = 1).
