Optical sensors

Description

Optical sensors are a very popular group of sensors. The principle of operation is based on sending a beam of light by the transmitter and receiving this beam of light by the receiver. This type of sensor comes in three basic versions: reflective sensors (from the detected object), reflective sensors (reflective from the mirror) or optical gate (transmitter and receiver are in separate housings). Optical sensors can work in the visible light band or in the infrared.
