Compact circuit breakers Thanks to their functions and possibilities of application, they have become the basic security element for devices and distribution networks. The Susol series TD and TS compact ACBs include: modern design, small dimensions, wide current range and many additional accessories.
Thanks to their construction and high parameters, the switches guarantee high work safety. A wide range of thermal-magnetic and electronic releases allows the use of Susol circuit-breakers in industrial installations, public utilities, AC and DC switchgears, motor protection, etc. The circuit-breakers are available in the current range from 16A to 1600A in two types: TD (lower short-circuit capacity ) and TS, in five dimensions. All sizes are available in 3- and 4-pole versions.

A variety of performances
Depending on the nature of the load, we can distinguish seven 800A power versions:
FTU - non-permanent short-circuit release, non-permanent thermal release
FMU - non-permanent short-circuit release, adjustable thermal release
ATU - adjustable short circuit release and thermal release
MTU - adjustable short-circuit release, no thermal
ETS - electronic trigger
AND M - multifunctional electronic trigger + the possibility of additional options, eg earth fault protection, ammeter
DSU - disconnector version
The construction of switches and triggers allows for their simple replacement. This means that you can quickly adapt it to changes in the configuration of the installation and, what is important, it reduces costs.
We set the triggers using carefully calibrated knobs:
- short circuit in the range (5 - 10) x In (in electronic 1,5 - 10In)
- thermal element in the range: (0,8 - 1) xIn (in electronic 0,4 - 1In)
Electronic triggers allow not only for wider possibilities of current settings, but also provide the possibility of setting a time delay during a short circuit and overload. Depending on the option, they enable the identification of ground faults, direct current monitoring and communication with controllers via the RS485 (Modbus) interface.
Modern solutions for 1000-1600 currents
LS compact circuit-breakers with rated currents of 1000A, 1250A and 1600A can be, depending on the needs, equipped with one of four electronic protection releases: type N, A, S or P.
They have a number of protection, control and measurement functions, and thanks to the LCD display they are clear, intuitive and easy to use. The number of functions and application options depend on the selected trigger. For each of them we have the option of own power supply or external AC / DC auxiliary power source. The settings are made with the help of clear knobs and by means of buttons and screen.
Standard safeguards held on stock are N and A.

Accessories for circuit breakers
The switches have a vertical switching mechanism (so-called heel) as standard. For larger sizes, the standard switch is equipped with an additional extension handle, which allows easier activation of the mechanism. Because due to the functions being performed very often, security devices must have additional options, LS provides a range of accessories:

It is also possible to adapt the switch to the plug-in assembly, where after removing the circuit breaker from the socket we have a visible insulation gap. Additional accessories installed inside (auxiliary contacts, SHT and UVT releases) are the same for all circuit breakers and disconnectors.
